Mar/104
Episode 21 – 7th Mar 10
Another Rathole Radio is upon us. I played a wide range of music as always, sang a live tune, chatted to folks listening live and also launched the gig tickets for sale. You can buy them by clicking “gig tickets” on the menu at the top there, you don’t need to be Columbo to work it out. If you’re within range I hope you’ll come and join us for a great night at the end of April. It’s not to be missed.

I’m back with another Rathole Radio. This time there’s a heady mix of nerdcore, metal, classical, folk, hip hop, house, electronica and more. All brought to you with a healthy heap of wittering and rambling from me. You should be used to that by now. I also played a live song which you may not have heard before. I hope you enjoy it.

43:24 – Frankie Machine – The Clue Is In The Question – License Unknown – from 1999’s Why Are You? EP.
47:44 – Live Acoustic Track – This time I played “Take Me Away” by Oasis, a little known b-side. They can be a bit annoying to some people as a band and I get that, the popular songs have been played to death, but this is a hidden gem. Many of their b-sides are and they’re well worth looking up. This performance wasn’t the best I’ve ever given so I apologise for that. My cold was still getting the better of me a little.

Rathole Live Event Anyone? I floated the idea of a live gig in Liverpool next year. April or May probably and I want to know how people feel about it. Leave a comment letting me know if you’d be up for it. We’ll get a nice venue somewhere, get some bands to play and we’ll have ourselves a bit of a party. Here are 3 good reasons: It’ll be the show’s 1st birthday, It’ll be my 30th birthday around then, and most importantly David Rovics will be in the country at that time and I could hopefully get him and Atilla The Stockbroker to play for us. Let me know your thoughts
