After missing the last live show in a fit of football-related depression I was back on form and back in front of the mic. This Rathole Radio was broadcast just after the World Cup final in which Spain won and Holland lost. I couldn’t blame our Dutch friends for not showing up afterwards. We had a great mixture of music and a live song featuring an outing for my Bob Dylan style harmonica neck brace. Try saying that when you’ve had a few drinks. I hope you enjoy the show.

  • 37: 34 – Live Track – The Unknown – “Jimmy Carter”. The first original tune by my band. I wrote this a few weeks ago. Got 2 or 3 more songs we’re gonna record and share with everyone soon.
  • 46:27 – Audio feedback from George AKA Snd_Chaser. Check out his own music show called Cerebral Mix.
  • Many thanks to Mikko Nurminen in Finland for his kind donation since the last show. If you want to help support the show and keep the show going you can donate through Paypal. No Paypal account needed just a credit or debit card.
  • Thanks to Jonas, Douglas and George for your emails.

Get In Touch: Please send me your thoughts and feedback on the music I play or any other aspect of the show. If you make music or you know people who make music and you think they should be on the show, send me suggestions and demos by all means. I’m always pleased to find new music and share it with people. Most of that is down to you, the wonderful listeners and your wisdom.

Good show again! Thank you for mentioning us again. Due to the world cup we had unfortunately no way to tune in. Lesson learned: you need to score to win a game 😳

@Marc – No problem, I figured you’d be pretty busy with the World Cup Final and all. Glad you enjoyed hearing the podcast anyway 🙂

Listening to this show right now – only on the third song, but I wanted to just comment on “Perfect Union” by The Get – great song! Also digging Latché Swing.

Oh, and excellent choice with Malajube. Great Canadian band. It’s pronounced Malajube…sort of a soft J I guess? Hard to describe via text.

As I’m listening through your old episodes I’ll also be flattring them. 😉
Currently my eyes are acting up and screen time is rly limited. Your voice, from the few times I’ve heard it, started playing in my head so I decided that I’d take some time listening through the shows of the past.
really enjoyed it when I listened live 2 weeks ago.
@fabsh told me (after a long discussion about podapps) that no EP before 30 was available at the moment. Please drop a line when they are, so I can listen to them.

Now time to close eyes and listen to EP 31

@maloki – The feed only goes back about 6 months to keep it lean. But there’s a dropdown box on the right sidebar where it says “archives”. You can use this to bring up all the past episodes by month and then click the download link. I looked at plugins to make an archive page but none of them worked in a way I liked. So I went for the drop down instead. Hope that helps.
