RatholeRadio 36 – 3rd Oct 10
Posted on October 5, 2010
Welcome to another Rathole Radio and this show I’m pleased to saw the return of the live track. I performed a soul classic in my own style which I hope you will enjoy. On top of that we had the usual eclectic mix of independent and Creative Commons music for your listening pleasure. There was also some waffling and silliness, what more could you want? Ok don’t answer that.
-
00:00 – Sekshun 8 – “Man Of Sorrow” – CC BY-SA Licensed
-
05:50 – Generationals – “When They Fight They Fight” – Copyright To The Band – Found this group on Bandcamp and must confess I don’t know a lot about them. They’re from New Orleans and they have a great sound. Check them out.
-
09:05 – Sonic Wallpaper – “Entrepreneur” – CC BY-NC-SA Licensed – Another track by Sonic Wallpaper AKA Gideon Marken.
-
15:52 – Mark Byrne – “My Old Dream” – License Unknown – Liverpool singer songwriter, saw him at a Liverpool Acoustic Live event. Love his voice and his songwriter. Has agreed to be on the show in future.
-
20:13 – Celestial Aeon Project – “Hymn Of Twilight” – CC BY-NC-SA Licensed – A Finish project consisting of one man really Matti Paalanen. Their stuff is on Jamendo and I highly recommend them.
-
28:04 – Sam Santana – “Mok To Love” – CC NC Sampling Plus Licensed – A French group from Clermont Ferrand who’ve been around since 1995 apparently. Found them on Jamendo Dance radio and I was impressed.
-
31:45 – Angie Foster – “Why Do I Love That Man” – License Unknown – Angie is an independant artist from Portland, Oregon. This track is from her album “Hurry Up And Wait” and it was sent to me by Kara Sowles, who I think is doing PR for her. Find out more at http://www.angiefoster.com/
